About a month ago, Ben asked if he could take a break from karate for a while and take an art class instead. Easy enough! We signed up for a community art class that's held at Lake Park in HB, and we've been having a fantastic time. For my boy who loves crafts, this has been a perfect fit. Every class offers three craft stations with new projects every week, and once class is over, we enjoy a little play time in the park before lunch. Ben also loves that he gets to wear whatever he wants to art class, as evidenced by his ninja costume in the photos. :) With Ben going off to kindergarten next year, I'm really enjoying this opportunity to spend focused time together. Time sure moves quickly!
