I was really excited to go to Nolan's school today for Authors' Workshop, where kids were able to present their favorite writing pieces. I must admit, though, I was a bit surprised that Nolan wrote an entire essay about a family trip to Walgreens. (Not to be confused with Walmart, as he clarifies in the essay.) I guess you never really know what's going to strike somebody until you read about it later. Apparently, it was great time!
