Marshall Arts! (yes, i love myself for this title)

This morning, the boys participated in their first Karate showcase, which Nolan especially had been looking forward to for weeks. (In the photo above, you can see Nolan's "serious" face.) First Ben's class demonstrated their kata, sparring, and board breaking skills, and Ben surprised us all by breaking a board for the very first time. Super exciting!

 

After Ben's class finished, Nolan's group got to perform, and Nolan was focused and fierce! He had broken boards in practice before, but this was the first time he ever broke two boards at the same time. It was so fun to watch!

 

 

 

Naturally, all of the kids got trophies at the end, which made my kids incredibly happy. Such a fun day!
