Louis

Wow. It's been a doozy of a week here, with the real drama revolving around Louis, who developed some unknown painful condition that left him screaming in pain. I think we all expect to see our pets deteriorate gradually with age, but this episode came on so suddenly that we've been at a complete loss. We took him to the vet every day for the last four days, in an attempt to manage his pain and figure out the problem. The vets are still not sure, as the x-rays don't point to anything obvious, so they're basically just using the process of elimination at this point. I think we've finally found a combination of medicine that is giving him some relief, but if you think about it, please say a little prayer for our sweet doggie. He's still only eight years old and has lots of life left to live!
